Aftercare

General Instructions for Microblading and Powder Brows

Follow for 7 Days or until healed:

​

*Avoid water contact with brows.

*Do not touch the healing pigmented area with your fingers, they may have bacteria on

them and can create an infection.

*Apply the aftercare given, do this 3 times daily until healed (morning, noon and night). You can begin using the aftercare the same day as the procedure.

•Lightly wipe the procedure site clean with a damp cloth or cotton pad (with water only) before applying the aftercare. Always use a clean q-tip for application not your fingertips.

*No Make-up, tinting of brows, sun, soap, sauna, jacuzzi, swimming in chlorine

pools or in recreational bodies of water, contact with animals or gardening for 7-10

days (until the area is completely healed) post procedure and after all touch -ups.

*Wait at least 2 weeks before waxing.

*Avoid indoor and outdoor tanning for 14 days.

•Bathing instead of showering is recommended for the first 7-10 days to avoid getting your eyebrows wet.

*Do not rub or traumatize the procedure area while its healing (pigment may be

removed along with crusting tissue)

•Use a "total sun block" after the procedure area has healed to prevent future fading of

pigment colour. Do NOT apply sun block for 14 days after having your brows done.

*Do not use products that contain AHA's on the procedure area. (Example: Glycolic

Lactic acids. Always check your product labeling) it will fade your pigment color.

*Try to sleep on a satin pillowcase while the procedure area is healing.

*If you have any concerns, please notify your physician immediately.

*If you experience any itching, swelling or tenderness or any red streaks going from the

procedure site towards the heart, elevated temperature, purulent drainage from the

procedure site, contact your physician as the area may be infected and you may need to

seek medical care.

•General rule of thumb; keep it dry and clean.

•Failure to follow the instructions will result in pigment/colour loss!

• All permanent make-up procedures are done in a two-step process.
